Laaiplek Hotel

Laaiplek Hotel is situated in the Laaiplek harbour area on the banks of the Berg River. The hotel has magnificent views of the river and abundant birdlife.

The fish factory is next to the hotel. Fishing trawlers leaving and returning from the sea can be watched from the hotel.

In the mornings, some 200,000 birds set out to sea and can be watched from the hotel patio. During the late afternoon, these birds can be watched as they return to the salt pans for the night.

The hotel offers single and double en-suite accommodation with private patios. Some of the double rooms have a splendid view of the Berg River.

We have three self-catering rooms with separate entrances. Each room consists of twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. Each of these rooms has a private patio with braai facilities. Parking is available in front of the units.

The Mooring caters to your culinary needs. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served. Enjoy good seafood and local homemade dishes while relaxing with friends or family and enjoying our spectacular river view.
