Alna Prodgers
I am a potter! But I am also more than that. I love creating beautiful things, from spinning and weaving, to mosaics, crochet work, felt making, beading and more. I even enjoy painting my house. I am a teacher, and I enjoy passing on the skills I have learned to my students. I love teaching challenges, and have taught adults, children, mentally disabled adults, and blind students. There is no better uplifting and satisfying feeling than experiencing a frustrated and emotional person relax with the feel of the clay in their hands and create something beautiful. I am inspired by what I see and what I see happening around me. I create pieces that please me, and hopefully, will please the people who see and buy them. I am passionate about colour and incorporate colour whenever I can. I am fortunate that I have been able to enjoy my craft and make a living out of it for over 40 years.
Marietjie Nieuwoudt
I am a fine arts oil painter. I paint with oil on canvas and board. I love to paint still life’s and figures, landscapes and basically everything that inspires me. Love the smell of paint around me. I love to use bright colours and textures in my paintings. My influence is my awareness nature and the beauty of landscapes.
Anneke Smuts
I am inspired by people, music, poems and nature. These aspects all give me the ingenuity to be creative in oil, pastels, acrylic, water colours and pen + ink. I was a student at the Arteographic Art school for 12 years. I love the challenge it brings to follow specific instructions according to a client’s guidance. It give me great pleasure to see how much joy my work gives to others.
