Heron’s Haven is situated on the banks of the Berg River/Port Owen canal and 50m from the river.

The apartment is the bottom storey of the owner’s double storey home with a private entrance. The house is 6m from the water and guests have direct access to the jetty should they have a boat they wish to use.

The 85 m² apartment consists of a bedroom with a double bed, an open plan lounge/kitchen area with 2 day beds and a small bathroom with toilet, shower and basin leading off from the lounge area. Both lounge and bedroom have uninterrupted views of the canal and the river.

Linen and towels are provided for the 4 guests. A hairdryer and heater is available in the main bedroom. In the lounge we have a TV with the family bouquet DSTV. Guests also have access to WiFi. The kitchen is equipped with a glass hob and under counter oven, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. The kitchen is equipped with all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, etc. required for a comfortable stay.

A paved area in front of the apartment provides a braai area (portable braai) with a table and chairs.

With direct and close access to the water, the accommodation is not safe for small children. Access to the apartment is wheelchair friendly, but the bathroom facilities may be too cramped for a disabled person.

Off road parking is provided behind locked gates.

Languages: Fluent English, Afrikaans, reasonably fluent German, Dutch, Xhosa and a bit of French.
