Langrietvlei Cottages

Langrietvlei Cottages – Self Catering, sleep 6 and are set amongst the Fynbos just off the tarred road and overlook the sprawling vleis of the lower Berg River which flood in winter and are dry in summer.

The chalets are not on the river but 1km from the river. There is no pool but swimming in the river.

All accommodation is fully secure and equipped including linen, towels, aircons, TV, microwave, stove, fridge, heaters and have an outside braai area. Bring only your food. There is undercover parking.

WHAT TO DO:

Swimming, boating, canoeing, bird watching on the Berg River which is 1km from the chalets on Helderwater farm and is accessible on foot or by bakkie/ LDV.

Explore the river, vlei and Fynbos area on foot, by mountain or quad bike. The vlei area provides a natural paradise for bird lovers especially from September to March

10km & 20 km Hiking trail along the river when vleis are dry. October to April
